Screening

Screening is known as a method for detecting breast cancer in the early stages, and it means examining women's breasts for early detection of cancer, before the symptoms of a malignant disease appear.

Although screening cannot prevent the occurrence of breast cancer, it has a significant impact on the treatment process by helping in timely diagnosis. The Motamed Cancer Research Center has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in women and men for years and has held many training workshops on screening and self-assessment of breast cancer with the help of experts in this field.

Breast clinic is active 6 days a week from Saturday to Thursday 8 am to 7 pm. Seventeen dedicated breast surgeons are working in this clinic managing the patients on the same protocol.

Emergency cases such as patients with lesions suspicious to malignancy or breast abscess and patients from other countries are admitted without delay and biopsy and pathology evaluation are performed urgently.

On average 300 patients visit this clinic daily, have appointments with breast surgeons and are referred for radiological evaluation if necessary. All services are covered by governmental insurance and there are some private insurance contracts.
