Laboratory

The laboratory of Motamed Cancer Consists of clinical, pathology and cytology departments.

In the medical diagnosis laboratory department, all routine and specialized tests are performed with advanced instruments according to international standards and internal and external quality control.

In the processing and slide preparation department of pathology, all samples are subjected to IHC staining (Immunohistochemistrey), CISH and preparation of frozen section slides, the slides are viewed and reported by the Breast Pathologist.

Cytology samples are also prepared and reported by traditional method and liquid phase (Thin Prep).
