The specialized center of the national network for the prevention, control and treatment of women's cancer was founded in Zahedan city

With the efforts of Motamed Cancer Research Center, ACECR, the second specialized center of the National Women's Cancer Prevention, Control and Treatment Network, with the presence of the Governor of Sistan and Baluchistan province, the head of the Health and Treatment Commission and the head of the health diplomacy fraction of the parliment, and a group of senior managers of this province and ACECR in the city Zahedan was founded.

According to the public relations report of Motamed Cancer Research Institute, the opening ceremony of the specialized center of the National Women Cancer Prevention, Control and Treatment Network of ACECR in the presence of Mohammad Karmi, Governor of Sistan and Baluchistan province, Dr. Hossein Ali Shahriari, Head of the Health and Treatment Commission of the Islamic Council, Dr. Zahra Sheikhi, Head of the Fraction Health diplomacy and a healthy lifestyle and the spokesperson of the health and treatment commission of the parliament, the presidents of Zahedan university and Zahedan medical sciences university, Abbas Safdari, the president of ACECR Zahedan province, Dr. Ramin Sarami Forushani, the head of Motamed Cancer Research Institute, and a group of provincial officials were held.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the head of ACECR Sistan and Baluchistan province, while welcoming the guests, pointed out the activities of ACECR in various fields of science, research, technology, education and culture and said: In the ACECR of Sistan and Baluchistan, we have had good successes in different fields of research and technology. Among them, we have medicinal plants and we are trying to provide the field of commercialization of the achievements of this unit by solving some existing gaps.

Dr. Ramin Sarami Forushani, the head of Motamed Cancer Research Institute and the head of the National Women's Cancer Prevention, Control and Treatment Network, in his speech, expressed his special thanks for the support of Dr. Sheikhi and Dr. Shahriari in the process of approving and launching the network. He added: we faced several obstacles beyond financial and technical issues, which were caused by bureaucratic conditions and sometimes annoying problems, which fortunately we were able to overcome so far, with the opening of the second specialized center of the network - after the Khuzestan province center - we witnessed the development of the national network of prevention, control and the treatment of women's cancer to the high-capacity but underprivileged region of the southeast of the country.

Referring to the structure of the national network for the prevention, control and treatment of women's cancer, he said: The main hub of the network is located in the Motamed Cancer Research Institute, and the network has been organized in such a way that specialized provincial centers can quickly benefit from the facilities and capacities of other centers when necessary.

Referring to the national Motamed Cancer Campaign and the implementation of women's cancer screening programs in underprivileged regions of the country, Sarami Forushani admired the supporters of the research institute in the path of cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, especially the charities that have helped in providing free treatment for the patients identified in these plans.

He clarified: Although Sistan and Baluchistan province was not among the first priorities of the network in terms of necessary infrastructure and facilities, the serious and unconditional support of the governor and Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, away from organizational prejudices, synergized and promoted capabilities and facilities, made the establishment of this center possible.
