The medical imaging department of Motamed Cancer Institute, Breast Cancer Center works with the cooperation of radiologists and experienced experts in this field.

Motamed Radiology Clinic, is equipped with digital mammography, magnification, localization of breast tumoral masses, Core Biopsy, guide wire, bluedomethylene injection for biopsy of non-palpable breast lesions, vacuum biopsy, ductography, color ultrasound (Doppler) It operates with the most equipped devices (General Electric) and sampling under ultrasound guidance.

Also, this center is equipped with the world's newest digital mammography machine with stereotaxic sampling bed, which is highly accurate in detecting benign and malignant lesions of breast diseases. Before procurement of this device, sampling was done in the operating room and under anesthesia in patients who needed further investigations for treatment. It reduces stress related to anesthesia.

In this department, any diagnostic services such as mammography, magnification, stereotactic sampling, core biopsy, guide wire, bluedomethylene injection for biopsy of non-palpable breast lesions, ductography, ultrasound and sampling for ultrasound guidance are available.

In addition, this center is equipped with the most modern stereoscopic digital mammography equipment which has a high accuracy in diagnosis of benign and malignant breast disease. Before being equipped with this technology, biopsy had to be performed in operating rooms under general anesthesia and therefore this has resulted in reduced stress in patients.
