With the cooperation of Motamed Cancer Institute (MCI) and Oil and Gas Exploitation Company, the Fatemeh Al-Zahra screening, diagnosis and control center for women's cancer is founded in Omidiyeh city

According to the public relations report of MCI, Ali Aghamohammadi, a member of the Expediency Recognition Council and the head of the economic group of the Supreme Leader's Office, on the sidelines of a visit to the joint camp of MCI and Behesht Khedmat camp in Omidiyeh, said: Considering the conditions the area and importance of early detection of cancer in the successful treatment of the disease, it has been decided to establish a permanent center for screening and diagnosis of common cancers in women in this city in cooperation with MCI and Behesht Khedmat Camp. The neighboring cities and vilages can also benefit from the services of the center.

It noteworty that, in line with the plans of the ACECR, a group of elite experts of the research institute, along with the camp of Behesht Khemit and Oil and Gas Company, carried out a free women's cancer screening plan on 2024 January 20 and 21 in Omidiyeh city of Khuzestan province.

In this plan, a medical team sent from MCI, including oncology subspecialist, breast surgeon subspecialist, radiologist, gynecologist and midwifery experts, in addition to examining patients and performing breast ultrasound and mammography, provided more than a thousand free specialized services to the regional women in this place.
