Upgrading the rank of the 'Iranian Journal of Breast Diseases (IJBD)' from Q4 to Q3

According to the public relations report of Motamed Cancer Institute (MCI), Dr. Shahpar Haghighat, the editor-in-chief of the Iranian Journal of Breast Diseases (IJBD), in an interview with ISNA press, announced this news and said: The Iranian Journal of Breast Diseases (IJBD) registered in the Ministry of Culture, and the Publications Commission of the Ministry of Health, treatment and medical education, and has been published since 2005. The research areas whose articles are published in this publication include: prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of breast diseases in the areas of basic sciences, clinical sciences, health sciences, social sciences as well as engineering.

She continued: The IJBD is indexed in the Scopus citation database, the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC), the Academic Scientific Information Database (SID), the country's publications information database (Magiran) and the Civilica database (CIVILICA). As IJBD is the solely specialized Persian language journal in the field of breast diseases, by adding extended English abstract to the published articles from the beginning of 2023, this journal has gained a valuable international position in the exchange of information between researchers and scientists outside the country.

The editor-in-chief of the IJBD stated: among the goals of publishing this journal is to take development steps in medical education, promote and publish scientific findings and improve existing knowledge in all areas related to cancer and breast diseases. This journal has always attempted to expand the knowledge frontiers through facilitating scientific interactions between researchers and academicians in the fields of cancer and breast diseases inside and outside the nation and helped to publish new research findings related to cancer and breast diseases in a timely manner.
