Motamed Cancer Institute (MCI) researcher achieves First Rank in the festival of top researches in "Cell Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation"

A faculty member of Motamed Cancer Institute won the top rank of the fourth best research festival in the field of cell therapy and hematopoietic stem cells.

According to the public relations report of MCI, the fourth festival of top research in "Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cell Therapy", the grand award of Professor Ardeshir Ghavamzadeh, was organized by Motamed Cancer Institute ACECR, and Research Institute of Oncology, Hematology and cell therapy in Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and held in Shariati Hospital.

In this ceremony, Dr. Zahra Sadat Hashemi, a faculty member MCI, won the first rank by presenting the article entitled: In vivo study for cytotoxicity of murine NK cell-derived exosomes against Triple-Negative mouse mode.

Also, the department of Advanced therapy and medical products (ATMP) in Motamed Cancer Institute (MCI) achieved the second place by presenting the article entitled: "Laboratory meat production for feeding pets for the first time in Iran", and the work of Ms. Fatemeh Salimian, a researcher at Motamed Cancer Research Institute with the article entitled: "Human Placenta Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells Transplantation in Patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) Caused by COVID- 19 (Phase I Clinical Trial): Safety profile assessment" won the third rank in the festival.
